The 2026 IEEE Global Emerging Technologies Conference (iGET) invites researchers, practitioners, educators, and industry professionals from around the world to participate in a premier forum for sharing advances and insights in emerging technologies across all fields of engineering and applied sciences. iGET seeks high-quality submissions that advance the theory and practice of emerging technologies and their applications. We solicit contributions in peer-reviewed technical papers, workshops, tutorials, as well as student posters, and welcome volunteers to support the organization and success of the conference.

 

Peer-Reviewed Conference Papers

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers on all aspects of emerging technologies. All submissions will undergo rigorous peer review based on technical quality, originality, clarity, and relevance to iGET’s scope.

 

Topics of interest include: Distributed Ledger/Blockchain Technology, Artificial Intelligence and

Machine Learning, Human Machine Interaction, Analytics and Data Mining, Intelligent Systems,

Knowledge graph, Cloud Computing, Parallel Computing, Distributed Computing, Mobile Computing, Networking, Reverse Engineering, Decision Support System, Smart Technology, Cyber Security, IoT and related technologies, Health Informatics, and/or FinTech.

 

Submission Guidelines

●      Papers must be formatted according to the official IEEE conference template.

●      Maximum page limit and submission details will be provided on the conference website.

●      At least one author must register and present at the conference.

●      Accepted papers will be submitted to the IEEE Xplore (subject to IEEE Xplore approval).

 

Important Dates for Paper Submissions

Technical paper submission:  April 30, 2026

Acceptance Notification:  June 15, 2026

Camera-ready submission: July 31, 2026 Papers must be submitted electronically

 

All submissions will be screened for plagiarism. By submitting your work, you agree to allow IEEE to screen your work for plagiarism: http://www.crossref.org/crosscheck/index.html. Full paper submissions should be written in English with a maximum paper length of 6 pages (10 point font) including figures, and tables.

Please note: To be published in the Conference Proceedings and to be eligible for publication in IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and the paper must be presented by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. Accepted and presented papers will be provided in the Conference Proceedings and submitted to IEEE Xplore.

 

Workshops

iGET encourages proposals for workshops that foster interactive discussions and collaborations around focused, cutting-edge topics related to emerging technologies. Submission deadline June 15, 2026.

 

Workshop proposals should include:

●      Title, organizers, and brief description

●      Objectives and relevance to the conference theme

●      Expected format (half-day or full-day), scope, and proposed activities, and requested days

●      List of potential speakers and session formats

 

Tutorials

We invite proposals for tutorials designed to educate and inform attendees on foundational concepts, advanced techniques, tools, or applications. Each tutorial proposal should clearly state the topic, learning objectives, intended audience, prerequisites, duration, and presenter details. Submission deadline June 15, 2026.

 

Tutorials may be:

●      Introductory for broad audiences

●      Advanced for specialized audiences

●      Hands-on (software tools, frameworks, systems)

 

Student Poster Competition

iGET will host a Student Poster Competition to engage students and early-career researchers in presenting ongoing or recently completed research in a visual format. Submission deadline September 21, 2026.

 

Eligibility and Guidelines:

●      Open to all students.

●      Posters should summarize research objectives, methods, results, and future directions.

●      A panel of judges will evaluate posters based on technical merit, clarity, creativity, and presentation.

 

Volunteer Opportunities

Interested in contributing to the success of iGET? Volunteering provides professional development, networking opportunities, and an inside view of IEEE conference operations. We welcome volunteers for roles such as:

●      Session chairs

●      Technical program committee members/Reviewers

●      Social media support
